Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly Close & General reporting
 General Accounting including Monthly & Annual close.
 Preparation of schedules, financial reporting and reconciliations towards monthly accounting and month-end closing activity
 Responsibility of other general statutory compliances like Shops & Establishmnets, trade licence etc.
 Vendor management, cost evaluation.
 Vendor agreements, AMC renewals etc
 Fixed Assets Management
 Accountable for preparing bank reconciliations and maintaining relationships with banks
 Spearheading Internal & Statutory Audits
 Monitoring cash flow on the operations of the company to review the cash position and forecast funds required.
 Planning steadily and arranging work efficiently to meet various deadlines.
Project & Contract set up & accounting
 Project set up for customer contracts after ensuring complete documentation required for the purpose for US contracts
 Contract set up in the system as per the terms of the contract for accurate customer billing
 Processing contract amendments
 Processing of monthly billing
 Project team updates
 Interacting with the US team for project/contract set ups
Accounts Payable
 Overall responsibility of processing of AP Invoices for India
 Ensure all accounts payable transactions are processed with proper internal controls and company policy
 Complete knowledge of TDS- Deduction,Payments & Returns
 Knowledge of Service Tax
Time and Expense Processing
 Overall responsibility of the SCI T&E cycle
 Validate expense reports as per the T&E company policy
REQUIRED SKILLS
 Qualification: Chartered Accountant , Second preference to Cost Accountant with more and richer working experience
 Should possess very good understanding on end-to-end Procure-to-pay process with analytical skills and ability
 Should be a team worker
 Ability to establish priorities and work independently
 Achieving daily productivity and quality targets
 Excellent verbal and written communication with proficiency in MS Office tools.
 Knowledge in any ERP system preferred. Working experience with computerized accounting package is essential
